What are the differences
in the forms of separation?
This refers to the different types of
panels available, according to the complexity of the systems they are
required to control. The simplest is an 'open wardrobe' type panel (Forms 1 and
2) while Forms 3 and
4 refer to compartmentalised panels
where different aspects of a process can be separated to allow
individual control. Click onto our Guide to forms of separation to view
our diagram and list of the different types of panels.
How do you size
overloads?
As with all overloads, we select an
overload range with the desired value midrange. For an assisted Star
Delta starter, select the overload using the following calculation: FLC
x 0.58 = the desired value.
Do you carry out
installations?
We have the facilities to carry out a
complete start to finish service, including electrical installation.
However the client is at liberty to select and use his own electrical
contractor. We will provide all the necessary technical advice, both to
the client and the electrical contractor, to ensure satisfactory
completion of the project.
Can you provide a
commissioning or pre-commissioning service?
Yes, we can provide personnel to
different levels of expertise to fulfil all customer requirements.
Do you modify or update
other manufacturers' work?
We can carry out comprehensive site
modifications on other people's panels. One of our strengths is our
technical expertise and our insistence on being fully customer focused.
This means we address all problems, even if they have originated from
another manufacturer.
