Job title: Control Panel Technical Sales Engineer - Control Panels / OEM Panels / Swtichgear
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with knowledge and experiance in electrical, single and three-phase low-voltage power controls for commercial and industrial applications.
This role would also suit a junior engineer with only 1+ year experiance wishing to develop their career further.
About you:
The ideal candidate would have experience in switchgear panels and understanding of switchgear and variable speed drives. In addition, selling experience of systems is preferred with an existing customer base, being capable of cold calling to new clients and generate sales possibly in new markets (i.e. end user business, Railway contractors, specialist energy contractors, OEM client etc.)
The candidate must be competent and lucid at all levels and demonstrate an ability to be imaginative in their approach. It will be necessary that the candidate can produce estimates and quote all of their own inquiries. The sales engineer will be expected to work to tight deadlines in order to meet client proposal dates and also to meet pre-defined sales and targets, provide daily and weekly reports detailing customer attendance and sales forecasts.
This position will involve occasional visits to carry out surveys on construction sites.
